7 Household Items That Can Be Used To Whiten Teeth Naturally

Let’s get practical, no matter how well you dress, wear an expensive watch, smell good but whenever you see yourself in the mirror with yellow or stained teeth you feel dejected.

However, yellowing of teeth is a natural process. As you age, your teeth will get yellow, no matter what. However, here you should adopt the least expensive method that will surely won’t waste your time. Don’t panic it is a natural process, having sugar items or chocolate may be led to staining or yellow teeth but there are some random and effective items in your kitchen or household that can be used to whiten your teeth naturally.

1. Salt

Salt is mordant in nature, it strengthens your teeth, by tightening gums and detoxifying them. You can use a salt solution, gargle twice or thrice a day. Or add a pinch of table salt to your daily toothpaste every time you brush in the morning or before going to sleep, results have already been seen.

2. Orange Peels
Whenever you have an orange next or lemon, don’t throw the peel into the trash. It might seem like foolish but believe me, it is the most effective one. The peel contains manganese and potassium which recharges the enamel. Rub it gently on your teeth with a little salt, before brushing your teeth. It will remove stain and plaque from the surface of your teeth.

3. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is already an effective home remedy of tanning; you can use it to have white teeth as well. So just, squeeze fresh lemon, directly apply lemon juice on teeth or you can mix it with baking soda this one is more effective and apply the paste twice a day for better results.

4. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is an antioxidant, antibacterial and good for massage, so giving your teeth and gums a massage on a regular basis can brighten your teeth within weeks. It can also get rid of a stain, remove bad smell, all you have to do is simply rinse your mouth with coconut oil for a minute or two before brush your teeth.

Apple cider vinegar is a natural cleansing product. You can use it as a cleanser for teeth as well as a mouthwash, dilute it with water and swish it around in your mouth for several minutes. Make sure to rinse your mouth with clear water afterwards.
