Met Gala is often alluded to as ‘greatest fashion night out’ and it is the highest of the iconic fashion style.
This event began as the fundraising show for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the event embraces celebrity stars, young creatives, and industry models.
It is recognised for its elite guest list, its expensive tickets and most of all its extreme outfits, based on a unique theme each year.
This year Met Gala 2019, celebrities wore of the current year’s theme— “Camp: Notes on Fashion” which is inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay ‘Notes on ‘Campas’. Celebrities will hit the pink carpet at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
As per the theme of the event, the costumes this year will be based on “wit, humour, parody, ingenuity and exaggeration”.
Priyanka, who is going to the Met Gala for the third time, this year she arrived hand-in-hand with her better half, Nick Jonas. Deepika Padukone, who presented safe for her last two events, made an intense walk this year; more with her exaggerated make-up than her dress.
