By November 23, 2018 No Comments

Disney has released the trailer of their next big upcoming movie which is the remake of 1994 classic, The Lion King, during NFL’s traditional Thanksgiving primetime game. The teaser gave us the nostalgic memory of what we all saw in the ’90s and flashback the memory. The trailer seems so amazing and alive that the internet has already started roaring after watching it.

In the one-and-half minute teaser, we can relive our childhood by the glimpse of the cute young Simba presented by Rafiq to the animals of the pride land raised above the rock, so that he can later take on the throne. Simba’s introduction with James Earl Jones’ narration as Mufasa “Everything the light touches is our kingdom. But the key’s time is the ruler’s. It rises and falls like the Sun. One day the Sun will set on my time here and will rise with you as the new king.” is recreating the magic with a perfection to one of the most memorable scenes from the original with his soulful voice.

Here’s the trailer that will give you goosebumps.

The lion king will be directed by the successful live-action maker Jon Favreau who is behind the movies like Iron Man and The Jungle Book. The Lion King will also highlight voice-overs by high profile cast like Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, John Oliver, Keegan-Michael Key, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and James Earl, Jones. The film has been written by Jeff Nathanson with music by the award-winning composer Hans Zimmer.

On July 19, 201 9, The Lion King is ready to roll in the next summer and hit the screen, and we can not wait for it. But the only thing we can do now is to start the countdown. Also, the Disney has rolled out the poster, captioning ‘Take your Place.’

Since the trailer has been out, the Twitterati can’t keep calm about it. We bring you a few from them.
