Dubai is all set for PMSC Global Finals, Are You?

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is heading its Mobile Star Challenge Global Finals event in Dubai from November 29 to December 1 hosted by Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation and sponsored by Samsung Galaxy Note9. Awarded by Golden Joystick Awards 2018 PUBG MOBILE is the Best Mobile Game Of The Year.

The PUBG MOBILE STAR CHALLENGE 2018 Global Finals is the worlds first official competing Esports tournament. This tournament features twenty teams from across the globe, who will fight each other for top honours and a total prize pool of $600,000 at Festival Arena in Dubai.

PUBG is even holding a live stream of the event through its YouTube channel, and a Facebook Live video of the same. According to the official press statement, the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge Global Finals broadcasts would begin 30 minutes before the start of each day of the event, which would be 5 pm IST.

The final list of participating team is out now and highlights some of the biggest names in Esports who will battle in a total of 15 matches during the Finals.

While the first match on each day would be an exhibition game lasting 30-40 minutes, the event will showcase 4 formal matches daily, each of which will hold a duration of 55 minutes.

Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing Center, Tencent said, “There are some great team names on the final player’s list, and we’re guaranteed to see some heated matches over the next few days. I encourage fans to purchase tickets while they’re still available so they can be close to the action and participate in our fun interactive events.”

Not only this, PMSC 2018 Global Finals is also offering two interactive areas during the event – Game Area and Interactive Experience Area.

PASSES & MERCHANDISE

PUBG offering daily passes for their first eSports event. Whosoever wants to attend the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge Global Finals can choose to pay 35 dirhams (Rs 675 approx.) for a Gold Pass valid for a day, or as much as 340 dirhams (Rs 6,550 approx.) for a Diamond Pass covering entire exhibition.

Attendees of the event can expect merchandise such as PUBG T-shirts, official dog tags, and a PUBG coffee mug, other than this they are also eligible for upgraded gear, a premium ammo supply, and new avatars within their game.

PUBG COMING TO PS4

Sony recently declared that the super popular battle royale game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) will be made accessible on its PlayStation 4 beginning December 7. The game is currently available on platforms like PC, Xbox One, iOS, and Android.

As of now, the game is currently available for pre-orders on the company’s own PS Store. The listing has three editions of the game – Survivor’s edition, Looter’s edition costs and the Champion’s edition priced at Rs 2,750, Rs 2,750 and Rs 3,999, respectively.

Rumour has spread that PUBG PS4 will debut with upcoming snow map named Vikendi.
