El Clasico without Messi and Ronaldo

By October 29, 2018 No Comments

In the history of club football rivalry, El Clasico represents one of the greatest ever with two of the world’s best team facing each other. El Clasico is not just a fixture or a match for Barcelona & Real Madrid, but it’s more of a combat between the two because over the time it had not only delivered just a sport but also blood, tears, sacrifices and much more a one could accept.

But this time it’s was different as the football clubs didn’t have the two ever greatest personalities of their respective teams who broke records and created history in every aspect of football. The El Clasico which happened this Sunday didn’t feature Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

While the Messi is out with a fractured arm on the other hand the Ronaldo has been shifted to Juventus. For the first time since 2007, these two teams did not saw their trump cards. The rivalry still stands tall with new hero to emerge in the competition.

The Barcelona have completely made a jest of Real Madrid with 5-1 win over their rivals. A hat-trick from Suarez and stepping up in place of Messi helped Barcelona crush their fiercest rivals, taking back them to the top of league.

The interesting part is the Barcelona has never won Clasico in absence of Messi since his debut in 2004, but the fact that Sunday match turned out to be one of the delight to watch with FCB crushing RMA with a huge win and slamming them with a huge loss.

Does this mean, Real Madrid is now lost without Ronaldo? Let the time fly and see what the managers have got best for the team. But after the last match the team has to work out better.
