Cricket in Sanskrit Touch: Match Played in Dhoti Kurta

Varanasi witnessed Cricket match at a whole new level. The players were in Dhoti-Kurta and commentary was in Sanskrit.

If you are a Cricket fanatic this is the best thing you will see on the Internet today. I mean, where else you heard the stuff like ‘Ati Sundaram’.

Regardless of what they wearing, the players easily walked around and carried out their responsibilities as required on the field. Just to show love to game, well, it truly does not make a difference what your wearing, customary all-whites or Indian attire.

The event was noting the university’s 70th-anniversary ceremonies.

The match was observed by one and all and people were naturally curious.

Five teams are in the tournament. E Indeed, even the umpires were in conventional attires. Dhiraj Mishra and Sanjeev Tiwari who administered have played in the Ranji Trophy.

The match was set in motion by international women players Neelu Mishra and Chief priest of Kashi Vishwanath temple Srikant Mishra.
