This Diwali Ayodhya to set new Guinness Record

By November 5, 2018 No Comments

On the bank of Saryu river last year during the Diwali Ayodhya failed to set a new world record by lighting the maximum number of earthen lamps. 1,87,213 of 2,00,000 diyas were successfully lit at Ram Ki Paidi on bank of Saryu which was confirmed by the team of Guinness World Records.

Again this year the Uttar Pradesh government is planning to create a new record by lighting even higher score with around 3,00,000 diyas on the bank of Saryu during Deepotsav. This event will be attended by the Governor Ram Naik, CM Yogi and other dignitaries. The main charm of this celerbration will be the First Lady of South Korea, Kim Jung-Sook, the wife of South Korean President Moon Jae-In. She will attend the program when, 3 lac earthen lamps will be lightened on 6 Nov.

RMLAU vice-chancellor Prof Manoj Dixit said, “Potters all over Ayodhya and around are making diyas while the university has finalized the list of volunteers to light the lamps.

UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath had earlier said, “I am going to Ayodhya for a grand Diwali celebration with a gift.” And as per the sources say Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to announce a 151-metre statue of Lord Ram on the banks of Saryu river as a Diwali gift for the people of Ayodhya.

With Ayodhya being in hype over the dispute of Ram Mandir this is something to worth watch for. Is this statue a compensation in respect to the Ram Mandir which was offered to people of India during 2014 election campaigns. The Govt. in power still hasn’t laid any action on construction of Ram Mandir as this matter is sensitive and related religious concerns. The Ayodhya title case is still lies in the hands of Supreme Court and will be heard in January.
