White Sauce Pasta for 4 people
Ingredients –
- Penne Pasta 250gms
- Full cream milk 750ml
- Amul Butter
- Maida 2 tablespoon
- Green, Yellow and Red Bell Pepper 1 nos each
- Raw Garlic 6 to 7 nos
- 1 medium size onion
- 1 cup of steamed sweet corn
- Salt
- Oregano
- Chilli Flakes
- Black pepper powder
- Amul Cheese Slices
- Refined oil
Method –
Firstly take a pan add water 1 ltr approximately and let it boil. When water starts to boil add penne pasta, 1 teaspoon of refined oil and pinch of salt. Keep medium flame and Stir the pasta in the gap of 3 to 4 minutes so as to prevent it from getting stick to each other. After 6 to 7 minutes check if pasta is cooked. You can turn off the stove now and wash pasta with running regular water so as to prevent it from overcooking. Drain all the water and keep pasta aside.
Meanwhile when Pasta is getting boiled dice capsicums and onion into a medium cube shape and chop garlic into small pieces.
Add two tablespoons of refined oil in a pan add garlic when it starts turning golden pink add all the vegetables and keep stirring it in a gap of 3 to 4 minutes until it is cooked 3/4th make sure you don’t overcook the vegetables.
Turn of the stove empty the pan and keep these assorted vegetables aside.
Now we are coming to the Sauce –
Keep the flame medium to low. Add equal quantity of maida and butter i.e; first, add 2 tablespoons of butter and after it is melted add 2 tablespoons of maida, make sure butter is not burnt and keep stirring it until the maida is cooked.
You will get to know when the good smell of cooked flour starts coming. Now you have to add warm milk to the mixture of maida and butter and keep on stirring it in order to avoid lumps make sure that flame is low.
When you see that you have achieved the desired texture add vegetables, boiled sweet corn, boiled pasta, 1 tablespoon of each oregano, chilli flakes and black pepper powder including salt according to your taste buds. Don’t stir now add 2 slices of Amul cheese and cover the pan with the lid for a minute on a low flame.
Your cheesy pasta is ready to serve. Sprinkle it with oregano and chilli flakes while serving.
